I started wearing a Bike in high school. Sports, gym, swim, etc. All required support, given I'm 6'3" at 255. Never like the mesh pouch, so the Omtex cotton jock is by far, the best athletic piece of equipment, and I'm hooked on wearing it, because it is the best for me. Now, as a PT football coach later in life, I can easily wear this jock under my uniform and it doesn't buckle or get uncomfortable. Thanks for a great product.
Omtex's Gym, along with their new Ace jockstrap, are by far the best available for true sportsmen who care about comfort and appearance. The original Bike was good, as was the now defunct Litesome in the UK, but Omtex tops them all. They're well designed and well made, which makes them not only great supports, but feel great and even look great, in the locker room for example, where the guys now think twice before donning their compression shorts - or should I say 'SUPPRESSION' shorts, which do the job I suppose, but look, and feel, uncomfortable, and definitely unflattering! Unlike a great jockstrap like the Omtex Gym (and Ace). Thank you jockstraps.com, and thank you India!
This has become my go-to jock in the winter - it's supportive, comfortable, and proven durable. I've since bought other colors because it's just really well made and fits well.
It does have a thicker cotton pouch, which is fantastic in the cold of winter but doesn't breath as well in summer heat. Also, even with a 31" waist I wear a Large as the Medium was just a tad too snug, so if you're on a border I'd size up.
4/5 - based on sizing
Another great product from Omtex, this one gets a rave review from me. Every part of this jock is designed and cut perfectly for a guy. Equipment fits nicely into the pouch and keeps it in place, but without jamming it against the groin, so it's comfortable to wear all day. I like both the old school look and design, and also the cotton fabric makes it feel a little more like Calvins - but the straps and cloth-free back remind you that you're wearing a jock - the ultimate male garment.
I have all of the Omtex styles and they are all well made, hold up to many washings and all are just styles and cut to fit a guy properly. The waistbands ride low in front for good lower an support, the pouches contain the equipment and breathe well. They are all superior designs. With the wide band kicks this site suggests up sizing and I found that to be good advice. With all of these styles the waistbands and leg straps don't roll and I even forget I'm wearing it because they fit and move with me so well. The Tokyo is the perfect fix to the jock brief. The fabric covers in back but does not wrap around the legs to bind. It's just perfect. I like the masculine locker room front and back labels too. Just great fit and value in all of these styles.
