Omtex ACE Supporter

Held up well, strong materials.

Very comfortable, more comfortable than some other straps.

My last ACE jock is really showing its age and even though I baby it, replacements are hard to find and expensive when found. When I saw the Omtex ACE I was pleased and the price is just a joke (low!). The pouch is just fantastic, just like the 'original' but softer. The waistband could be firmer to my taste, but I had that complaint with the ACE. The only pan, and the reason for four stars, are the flat butt-bands (straps). The original ACE's have tubular "no roll" bands that wrap beautifully up the gluteal crease and never fold, roll or slip out of place. I have yet to find a modern jock (athletic, not fashion/fetish) with this feature.

Like most guys here, I have a had a lot of jockstraps over the years, and prefer the wide waistband types for under my sweats when working out.
I guess would be considered a traditionalist. Let me address size and fit first.

I have a 35" waist, and I am 5'11 at 180 pounds. I was unsure of the size, so I got both a Large and XL.

I found the Large too tight and the XL perfect. YMMV.

In terms of pouch and comfort, this thing is in a class of its own, at the top! The reviews here praising it are totally accurate in my view. The pouch in particular is just incredibly comfortable.

It's very well designed and super comfortable. I have taken to wearing it under jeans also.

I can't praise it enough. These guys have taken the 3" waistband old fashioned jock to a new level. This totally blows away the BIKEs, Champions, etc of yesteryear.

Highly recommended! I am buying two more for casual wear they are so comfortable.
